Sustainable film production

Rhätische Bahn
No VIP drivers needed on this film set! Our cast and most of the crew arrived by train, and happily so.
The view from the Bernina Express is indeed incredible, and train travel also provided a few extra hours to prepare for the shoot and learn the lines.

Mobility Car Sharing
What's the most sustainable way to get your camera equipment over a Swiss mountain pass?
Switzerland’s Mobility car sharing had the perfect answer: an electric fleet in every size, and an easy app to book a car whenever we needed one.

Campsite Morteratsch
Our showrunner loves to spend winters on this alpine campsite. Next thing we know, she's booked the campsite’s tiny houses for our entire crew and cast. And the rest is history :-)
-
Hotel Morteratsch
Close to an Alpine glacier and right next to a RhB station. Great food and service. And just the place where our protagonists keep hopping on and off that famous Bernina train.
-
Hotel Saratz
Richard Strauss composed his final oeuvre, Vier letzte Lieder, in Pontresina at Hotel Saratz.
Now it’s up to the Corbyn sisters to pick up the baton. And indeed, from the gorgeous Strauss pavilion, we let the rumbunctious $HARE family saga unfold…
-
Puntraschigna
Several languages - Puter, Italian, German, Portuguese - incredible views, and a rich alpine heritage.
We're not the first to film in Pontresina - see Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds reference to The White Hell of Piz Palü - and we certainly won't be the last!
Costumes & props
-
Clotilde
Life on a winter campsite requires fashion that withstands the test of time. Florentine label Clotilde does just that. Our protagonist spent the whole week in their artisan-made Uovo jeans. By the end of the shoot, the entire $HARE crew & cast wanted a pair!
-
Onepiece
Nothing like a onesie from Norway to keep warm in the snow. Onepiece doesn’t just look good but is designed with women in mind: this one has a bottom zip so you don’t have to strip out of the whole onesie when you're in a hurry to get to the winter campsite loo.

Uldry
What do you do when you’re on a micro-budget, but the script says you need an original work by Clara Porges? A big thank you to Fundaziun Capauliana and Uldry fine art prints for making it seem like we did. Expect to see more fine art prints in episode two!
